Music of The Wild Goose
Near the end of the story, Ned Carmady composes a tune named The Wild Goose that expresses his feelings about Ireland, perhaps more than any words he has written or spoken.
The musical score is printed as Ned wrote it, without lyrics or comment, on page 389 of the first edition.
