Aet. 49, to the London publisher of Sister Teresa. His printer for the project was was Colston & Coy, Ltd., Edinburgh.
The first edition of Sister Teresa was published on 8 July 1901. It has approximately 90,000 words in 41 chapters on 236 pages, in a format similar to the first edition of Evelyn Innes (1898), but printed on thicker paper.
The first edition of Evelyn Innes (1898) has approximately 180,000 words in 35 chapters on 480 pages.
The third edition of Evelyn Innes was published the same day as the first edition of Sister Teresa. It has approximately 127,000 words in 46 chapters on 187 pages.
Though the new Evelyn Innes and Sister Teresa in 1901 were a duology, their appearance and price were dissimilar. They don’t look like companion volumes.
