Aet. 35, to a partner of publisher William Swan Sonnenschein. Francis Lowrey (1856-1906) was a barrister who also wrote literary and art criticism. After leaving Sonnenschein in 1889, he joined Cecil Rhodes in mining gold and other minerals in South Africa.
