Menu of Letters of George Moore

In 1886 George Moore was in his early 30s, living in London as a successful novelist and occasional journalist. Following serialization, his third novel A Drama in Muslin came out in June. Starting in July, translations of his second novel A Mummer’s Wife and first collection of essays Parnell and His Island were serialized in France. There are 38 extant letters from the year 1886.
