Nina Mary Louisa Moore (1858-1944) was the only sister of the novelist George Moore. She married John Martin Kilkelly (1843-1912) and had six children; today her descendants are most of the surviving Moore family members.

Below Richard Best, director of the National Library of Ireland, reads an elegy by George Russell at the funeral of George Moore in 1933. Nina is on the right side of the picture, standing next to her brother Maurice on Castle Island, Lough Carra, where George Moore had imagined the end of his life in a story named “Resurgam,” in Memoirs of My Dead Life.
