Standing with backs to the stage, in the stalls of a crowded theatre, Oscar Wilde speaks and holds an object (possibly opera glasses), George Moore listens to Wilde’s immediate left, and an unidentified bearded man is to Moore’s left. The caption is from Vain Fortune, Chapter 5.
