Aet. 48, to a London publisher. In this letter, George Moore negotiated cost sharing for printing his novel Evelyn Innes, which had been issued in three revisions since 1898 with a fourth expected in 1901. He acknowledged that previously printed copies of Evelyn Innes were still for sale by Unwin.
He also negotiated terms for the American publishing rights of Sister Teresa, which was still a year away from a first edition.
He previously refused to authorize Appleton, the publisher of the first American edition of Evelyn Innes (contracted by Unwin), to publish Sister Teresa.
