Aet. 46, to the London publisher of Evelyn Innes. Colston & Coy, Ltd., Printers, were founded in 1822 by James Colston (died 1895), a prominent businessman and civic leader in Edinburgh. The company was now managed by John H. Young, inventor of an innovative printing technology. Colston & Coy at its peak employed over 200 people, printing for government offices and several London publishers. They printed the first two editions of Evelyn Innes and the first edition of Sister Teresa.
