Aet. 45, to a French man of letters. George Moore’s scenario was a draft of Diarmuid and Grania, the subject of his new literary collaboration with W.B. Yeats as recollected in Chapter 10 of Hail and Farewell! Ave (1911).
“Le Camp de Wallenstein” was part one of Vincent d’Indy’s symphonic triptych Wallenstein (Op. 12, 1870-1871), inspired by Friedrich Schiller’s dramatic trilogy.
