Aet. 43, to an American novelist whose husband Marquis Manfredi Lanza di Mercato Bianco died in Washington D.C. on 12 November 1895. Clara afterwards traveled to Europe but is not known to have permanently settled in Naples. She probably visited her late husband’s family in Southern Italy.
