Aet. 42, to his brother. Maurice’s son Maurice George Henry Patrick, called Rory (1894-1965) was educated in Ireland before emigrating to the United States. In 1920 he married in Sheridan, Wyoming, and became a rancher, retiring in 1953 to Santa Barbara, California. Rory was survived by a daughter, Kathleen.
The first edition of Esther Waters was dedicated to Maurice.
