Aet. 40, to an American actress and author. George Moore was casting his play The Strike and Arlingford for the Independent Theatre Society. Elsie Chester (died 1937) had performed in Thérèse Raquin (Criterion, 26 January 1892). After The Strike at Arlingford, she joined Robins and Charles Fulton in the premier of Ibsen’s Master Builder.
