Aet. 39, to an architect and man of letters. George Moore published an important essay in the Nineteenth Century and After (February 1901) ten years after this letter was written. Arthur Symons’ “Paul Verlaine” eventually turned up in the National Review (June 1892), edited by Alfred Austin.
