Aet. 34. to a Dutch journalist. Netscher’s Studies naar het Naakt Model, with illustrations by Pieter de Josselin de Jong (1861-1906), was published 11 April 1886. Netscher’s novel Dina, about the lives of Dutch fishermen in the North Sea, was written 1886-1888 but not published. A Dutch translation of George Moore’s A Drama in Muslin (Been Drama in Neteldoek, published in Sneek by H. Pijttersen Tz.,1888) has not been seen. Zola’s newest book was L’Œuvre.
