Aet. 32, to a French novelist and man of letters. A translation by Albert Vandam of an expurgated Germinal was serialized in a London weekly newspaper, People (30 November 1884 – 26 April 1885. George Moore recently published “A New Censorship of Literature” in the Pall Mall Gazette. An unsigned article, A Circulating Censorship,” appeared in the Saturday Review (13 December 1884). George’s article in the Daily News has not been located.
