TULLYRA CASTLE, ARDRAHAN, Co Galway.

Sunday [30 September 1899]

Dear Fisher Unwin

I merely want two copies (second edition) to be cut up and pasted on sheets of foolscap paper, the left hand corner will be the best place. Two copies will be necessary because you print on both sides of the sheet. I hope that this is clear.

When I finish Sister Teresa it will be necessary to publish a fresh edition of Evelyn Innes but this new edition, which will be much shorter, need not interfere with the first edition which some will prefer, it being the longer.

For two different versions of the same book to be sold at the same time is unusual but I am not afraid of the unusual and I don’t think that you are.

I am getting on better with Sister Teresa and I hope to be able to get through. The book is horribly difficult to think out but it will not be an unattractive book I think.

Always sincerely yours

George Moore
