Tuesday [22 January 1889]
My dear Blanche,
I have seen Dowdeswell. It is impossible to get your picture till the exhibition and he says he cannot get it then without the order for its withdrawal which the management will send you.
I hope you will let me know soon when I may expect your portrait. The editor waits. I shall be glad to get rid of that horrible thing by Strang.
You will be here in April? Write and believe me
Affectionately yours
GEORGE MOORE
Will you do the Salon for the Magazine of Art? I shall ask the editor to call on you; il peut vous être très serviable. He is going abroad.
