Dear Lady Gregory,
I am writing to Yeats to tell him the first act won't do at all. Acts are not written in two days. I have written pointing out how the act must can be reconstructed. He will of course show you the letter and you both will agree with me, I have no faintest doubt.
I can come down any day after Thursday but I cannot stop for more than a couple of days — I must get back to London and to the article for the 19th Century. This article is of first importance and cannot be neglected any longer.
However if Yeats is of the same mind as I am regarding the first act a good deal can be done in a couple of days. Please write and let me know what you would like me to do.
Always sincerely yours
George Moore.
