My dear Blanche
I have just received your telegram. I suppose that for some reason or other the drawing cannot be reproduced in heliogravure; but a drawing can always be reproduced. Why not try some other method of reproduction. Would you like to send me the drawing and I’ll see what can be done with it here?
In any case write and let me know, for if I can't have it I’ll ask Menpes to do me an outline etching from a photograph. I am awfully disappointed.
