1901-01-09b to Thomas Fisher Unwin

Autograph letter, New York Public Library, 133 words

[Edited for paragraph breaks, capitalization, spelling and punctuation.]

92, VICTORIA STREET. S.W.

Wednesday night [9 January 1901]

Dear Fisher Unwin,

There is of course nothing for it but to get on with the printing. I hope I shall not correct the text; if I do I have no doubt that you will make me pay.

Only don’t be too hard on me if you want to publish my next book. Remember that I have a volume in my writing desk entitled ’’Moods and Memories.” I have a volume of essays and I shall write a volume in one of the Irish papers within the next six months. So don't kill the goose.
