Dear Mr. Stead,

I have received last night another article from South Africa — From "An Officer in the Field." I have only read the first few pages — I hate reading M’s MS. — but I gather from what I read that the article is a tremendous indictment and coming after the first I cannot doubt that it will affect the object we have in view.

Please send me a telegram when I can see you for I think that this is one of the highest importance. I should like to speak to you about one or two things.

Always sincerely yours,

GEORGE MOORE
