B15-a2 American edition
An American issue listed in The United States Catalog as having been published as Thoughts from George Moore by McKay, Philadelphia, n.d., and by Crowell, New York, 1927, differs in several particulars from the first edition. The only located copy was formerly in the collection of the late P. S. O’Hegarty of Dublin, who kindly loaned it to Edwin Gilcher for examination. It is now in the Special Collections Department of the University of Kansas Library at Lawrence.
In place of the inserted colored frontispiece of a young woman wearing a large blue hat used in the first edition, there is an inserted frontispiece of a reproduction of the GM portrait by William Strang, used as the frontispiece of the first edition of Confessions of a Young Man (A12-a); endpapers are light green; back cover and spine are plain, and front is lettered in black
