Art Chats With Mr. George Moore

The Mail, 4 August 1905, page 2, 119 words

We have received the following telegram to-day: –

TO THE EDITOR OF THE “EVENING MAIL.”

Sir, – The interview which you published with me in yesterday’s “Mail” misrepresents, in my opinion, the conversation I had with your representative. Your representative promised to send me a proof of the article before it appeared, and this promise was not kept. Will you please to send me a copy of the shorthand writer’s notes. I will publish them. Then the public will be able to understand my views. I am telegraphing to you so that there may be no delay in my repudiation of the interview. GEORGE MOORE.
